Stella's Red Nose

All depending if your from England or not,you will know what i mean by Red Nose Day! If you don't,its a day in England where people raise money for charity! Up and down the country celebrities and ordinary people do all sorts of things to raise money!

This year the scottish fashion designer Stella McCartney has designed a range of t-shirts to raise money for Red Nose Day! Most of these Tees are white with ionic images on,from The Beetles to Marilyn Monroe, and you can't forget the red nose added on of course! My father recently purchased me one from TKMAXX, guess which one he got me...
I completed my look with my topshop floral trousers which I fall in love with   everytime i wear them! My green tweed jacket and my little brown wedges!

High School Disco!

It was Saturday and the sun shining! I was free for the whole weekend! At school I have another exam coming up,therefore a lot of my time has gone towards working for that however I pushed my school books aside today so I could plan and shoot my blog post! I've been reading all sorts of fashion media recently, the latest gossip on Paris Fashion Week now, Company magazine and everything in between! As spring is coming up, all these were filled with the upcoming trends! One of these trends caught my eye in Company Magazine and that was American high-school trend! I've always been obsessed with high school american films (one is Grease of course..) therefore I thought I'd try it out, What do you think?

Inspired Look

London Fashion Week is over.. we've handed the 'fashion week' title over to Milan to see what the likes of Prada and Versace can knock up for their A/W collections! So now our timelines and feeds are not filled with #LFW updates what is there to talk/tweet/blog about?! Do rewind our fashion clocks and prepare for Spring/Summer 13 which is almost among us now? Or Do we just sit back and relax until September?

I sure all us bloggers will fly in different directions! I've decided to create a post inspired by one of collections I seen at SommerSet house! Zoe Jordan, the designer I reviewed in my last blog post here!
Her collection was all about block colours, pops of neon and clean cut pieces! So.. I've decided to wear my new black trousers which have many similarities to some of the bold black trousers in her collection! Wearing the bright neon top to demonstrate the pops of colour! Aswell as layering it with a knitted crop top to create her casual knit wear look! Can't forgot a dash of orange either!
As I'm wearing my hair in a low textured pong-tail like the models had and wiping out accessories!

Zoe Jordan AW13

So the two collections I was luckily enough to see where Zoe Jordan and Bora Aksu! I never normally do reviews on collections, I like to leave that to the professionals! But I might as well give it go! (Never know,Mulberry may ask me to review their show next collection after this!)  This post is the Zoe Jordan collection!

So London Fashion Week kicked off with Zoe Jordan! After the hype over Laura Whitemore, Jamie Winstone and other celebs on the frow had died down the show started!
It started off with clean cut white pieces that slowly turned into monochrome! (Think AW13,Think monochrome) But it wasn't long before the designer was adding in a touch of colour! Oranges and pinks really brighten up the collection! All her pieces were had a simple shape, letting the patterns and the colours doing the talking! The shoes had similiar characterics, many were a strong moody colour will a pop of orange or white! She also adding in hints of knitwear but still keeping the clothing casual! Then at the very end three amazing metallic pieces came out! A very successful collection and a great way to start fashion week!

London Fashion Week

If you remember I posted before about how I was going to London Fashion Week! I've been having a break from blogging for a while as I've been using up my time preparing for the day with my outfit ideas and looking up designers ect..  Well,yesterday was the day!

Quickly, I'll tell you about Thursday! Thursday was London Fashion Week eve and vodafone had put on a Mary Katrantzou showcase! It showed two of her last years collections, the hair, the make-up and also a clip from the designer on her inspirations! Mary is famous for her prints and it was great to see some of them up close! She uses regular every-day objects and turns them into a pattern! My favorite was the coat hanger one! She also recently had a collection in topshop! Keep your eyes out on Sunday (17th)  at 16:00 when she shows her AW 13 collection,I'm rather excited! Here's a few pictures but if you haven't already I'd google some of her past collections!

After that I headed back to my hotel and got ready for my early start the next day! At half 7 (It was my half term remember) I got up,got dressed and headed to the underground! Me and my mum headed to the Sommerset house grabbing a starbucks on the way! (Everyone lives on coffee in fashion week, right?) Anyway,I noticed that the early starts didnt stop any fashionistas in London! The highly decorated white tents where surrounded by some of the best dressed in town and also a gang of the Made In Chelsea stars were thrown in the mix! After some serious people watching I went inside and watched the Zoe Jordan AW13 collection and an hour later followed the Bora Asku (My reviews will be posted shortly)

I can only be grateful of an amazing fashion experience I have had! Last season I could only of dreamed of being at Fashion week! But that's not the end of it, fashion week has only just started! Are you ready?

Winter Sunshine

Hey! This is going to be an outfit post (also with a hint of my London Fashion Week excitement )  So basically when I was choosing this outfit I decided to forget it was winter I suppose? I fell into the harsh winter sun trap! Alice, just because the sun is shining, doesn't mean he has his hat on?! Just like a gladiator at battle, I walked out into the 'unbearable climate'. (A little over-dramatic I know..)
So with the bold flowery shorts I added plenty accessories to add a touch of sparkle!
Both bracelet and necklace are from topshop!

Also my London Fashion Week tickets have arrived!! ONLY ONE MORE WEEK TO GOO! So excited I could literally burst and then burst again! I'll be  at Mary Katrantzou pre-fashion week collection and two other collections on friday morning! I'm not only excited for London but also checking out collections and pre-views of all the fashion week! Feb is defiantly one of my fave months! Here are my tickets..
